Bentota

Bentota is coastal town located on Sri Lanka’s southwest cost, 65 km south from Colombo and 65 km north from Galle in Galle district of the Southern province.

This town is call resort town because of full of resort and Hotels. The speciality is the sandy starched beach known as paradise Island. This resort town situated on the southern bank of Madu ganga river. Since it is a tourist attraction town many class hotels and resorts are there. Bentota River Airport enrichment the town. If we call it’s the destination for waterspouts is not overstate. Also it famous for Ayurveda treatment and toddy product made out of coconut nectar. A turtle hatchery in Induruwa beach is a place you can visit to see turtles and get an amazing experience of release baby sea turtles into the ocean.   Transport Southern railway connecting Colombo all the way to Matara and Colombo to Wellawaya A2 Highway are runs through Bentota.
